Torreón, Coahuila.- Despite trying until the last minute, Guadalajara lacked conviction and failed to earn any points from their visit to Torreón. The Rebaño Sagrado fell 1-0 to Santos in a match corresponding to Week 4 of the 2025 Apertura.
The first 45 minutes were very difficult for both teams, as neither was able to completely establish themselves on the field. Although Guadalajara had possession and tried to hurt the Guerreros, they lacked accuracy and suffered a heavy punishment when Barticcioto scored to put the home team ahead.
In the second half, Gabriel Milito moved his pieces and put more people on the attack, trying to increase the aggressiveness in the circulation of the ball and equalize on the scoreboard. However, the goal continued to elude the Rebaño Sagrado, who did not give up and created many dangerous chances, but failed to tie the score.
Following this defeat, Chivas will return to Guadalajara and begin preparations for next Saturday's match, in which they will host Bravos de Juárez in Week 5 of the 2025 Apertura.
